Privacy policy

The short version

• You don’t need an account. There is no sign-in, and we never ask for your name, phone number, PAN or bank details.
• We don’t show ads, we don’t use analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t sell or rent your information.
• Saved IPOs and your light or dark setting stay on your device.
• If you turn on email alerts, we keep your email address until you turn them off. Turning them off deletes it.
• Questions you ask the AI are sent to Anthropic to write the answer. We don’t store them, unless you report an answer.

IPO information

IPO prices, dates, GMP, subscription figures and company details come from IPO Guru (ipoguru.in) through our own server. Using Latest IPO doesn’t send anything about you to IPO Guru, with one exception: company logos are loaded straight from IPO Guru’s servers, which, like any website, receive your device’s IP address and browser or app details when an image loads.

Stored on your device

Your saved IPOs, your light or dark choice and, if you turn on email alerts, your email address and a random code that lets the app manage your alerts are kept in the app’s storage on your device (or your browser’s storage on the website). The alerts code is sent to us only when the app checks or turns off your alerts. Deleting the app, or clearing the website’s data in your browser, removes all of it.

Daily IPO email (optional)

If you join the daily email, we store your email address, a random unsubscribe code, when you joined, and which IPOs we have already emailed you about (so new ones can be marked).

We use your address only to send a welcome email listing current IPOs, and then one email each morning at about 10 AM IST listing the IPOs open or coming up (none on days when there are none). Every email has an unsubscribe link. We never use your address for anything else and never share it for marketing. If someone added your address without asking you, the unsubscribe link removes it.

AI chat (optional)

The questions you type in Ask AI, together with the earlier messages of the same chat, are sent to our server and on to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, to write the answer. We don’t save the conversation on our servers, and the app forgets it when you start a new chat or close the app. Anthropic processes it for us under its Commercial Terms, doesn’t use it to train its models, and keeps it only for a limited time under its own data-retention rules (longer if its safety systems flag it as misuse).

If you tap Report under an answer, we keep that answer, the question before it and the reason you chose, with nothing that identifies you, for up to 90 days so we can review it.

Please don’t type personal details such as your PAN, bank account or phone number into the chat. Answers are general information, not investment advice.

IP addresses and technical data

Like every website and app, our servers see your device’s IP address and basic technical details, such as the browser or app version, when you use Latest IPO. We use IP addresses, and the email addresses entered, to limit how many AI questions and email sign-ups can be made each day, so the service can’t be abused. Those daily counts are deleted after 7 days. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived request logs, for a few days, to run and secure the service.

The website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

Who else handles your information

• Cloudflare hosts our website, server and database, and processes the information above on our behalf.
• Anthropic processes AI chat messages for us, only to produce answers, under its Commercial Terms (anthropic.com/legal/commercial-terms).
• Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES, Mumbai region) delivers our emails.
• IPO Guru serves the company logos shown in the app and on the website.
• Links to other websites, such as a registrar’s allotment-status page, open those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

We share information only with these providers, to run the features you use, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Email address and alert history: until you turn alerts off, then deleted straight away.
• Daily request counts by IP address or email address: 7 days.
• AI chat conversations: not stored by us; Anthropic keeps them only for a limited time under its own rules.
• Reported AI answers: 90 days.
• Hosting request logs: a few days.

Your choices and rights

You can turn email alerts off at any time from the Profile tab in the app, or with the unsubscribe link in any alert email. This deletes your email address and alert history from our records immediately.

Alerts can be turned off from the app on the device or browser where you turned them on; from anywhere else, use the unsubscribe link in any alert email, or email us.

You can also email adnaan@nudgekit.app to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to raise a concern about how we handle it. We will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Unsubscribe codes are long random values, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect yours.

Children

Latest IPO is meant for adults interested in the Indian stock market and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
